Saturn In Pisces (03/2023-02/2026): Advice Sign by Sign

Updated: Oct 21, 2023

There’s an in-depth article on my blog about Saturn entering Pisces – how the transit works, what to expect, and world-wide topics. However, I wanted to be able to provide (generalized though correct) guidance sign-by-sign… and it was too long to include in the main article.

So, here’s the more tailored-to-you advice on this pretty big transit – if you haven’t already, I suggest reading Saturn Enters Pisces (March 2023 Til February 2026): End of Delusions, Building On Kindness first as it gives you the bulk of what to expect – and I don’t include those repetitions in this article.

Please also note that these are generalized predictions that aren’t tailored to the complexities and nuances of your natal chart. In order to get a full picture of how this transit affects you and of how you can work with it to best get through the transit, please book a reading.

In the following, check for your Rising Sign (otherwise known as the sign of your Ascendant), and/or your Sun Sign/Star sign.

Notes for Astro-geeks: 1) The Ascendant is the start of your natal chart, the point from which we count your houses (mathematical portions of the sky that signify different life areas). You can count those houses in different ways either through complex mathematics or by counting signs from your Rising on. The latter is called Whole Signs and is the basis of this article. If you don’t like Whole Signs, that’s perfectly fine! The prediction will still be accurate as Whole Sign works, but you can still come in for a personalized reading with me where we look at different, more personalized impacts on your chart.

2): Why the Sun Sign? There is such a thing as Solar Houses, which can work as a substitute for Natal Houses as counted by your Rising, f.e. when you don’t have your exact time of birth. But even if you do have your time of birth, Solar Houses can give additional information on themes you may encounter.

Aries:

For you, Saturn in Pisces affects your house of letting go, sacrifice/martyrdom, altruism, charity, foster children, mental health, rest, sleep, spirituality, transcendence, karma/dharma/soul purpose, isolation, and isolated places, endings, conception, invisible things, and entrapments. This doesn’t sound too good at first, but don’t worry, there’s still higher ground.

So, imagine that every single topic of Saturn in Pisces as discussed in this article is going to be happening in your life, unfiltered and more intense than for most people. That’s a great way to start out with. Let’s continue with some more specified add-ons that weren’t in the article as they mostly apply to Aries Rising or Aries Sun people. Let’s start – with the end. Endings are tough, but they’re often necessary. Let’s imagine a thirty-year-old who never got to leave elementary school because he just couldn’t leave, and you’ll know what I mean – there are times you need to move on from something and you need to let go of something that once was great for you but now no longer serves. Unfortunately, this is one of the main themes of this transit for you. This can be pretty tough to deal with, but it creates space for new beginnings and a better life. You need to clean the house before you can move in a new tenant. So, imagine that everything that falls away throughout this transit is in your highest good to lose. Similarly, everything you keep throughout this transit is in your highest good to keep, and it’s likely resilient enough that you won’t lose it for decades to come.

Another aspect here is that it’s time to let go of past pains, even (if you’d like to believe in this), pain from prior lifetimes, pain that you carry epi-genetically or took on from your family system, and pain that others put you through because they bleed on people (you) who didn’t hurt them. It’s also a transit that shows you where you’re your own worst enemy, so you can change your patterns and become your best ally. It’s also time to pick a way to be of service to others and to yourself in a way that pays you more than money. A lot of this transit will be happening inside you, behind the scenes, where others may not see it… but the changes will likely have ripple effects on your visible life.

This is also a time when you need to prioritize rest and going inward. Regardless of what this looks like for you (some people like prayer, meditation, etc. for this,) please also make sure that you have enough alone time and enough sleep, as this really helps you soften the negative impacts of this transit and capitalize on the positive sides… Positively, this transit helps you dream up your future and your life, and get really clear on what it is that you want (and what works for you). This allows you to build your life much more efficiently later on in life. You also learn the values of kindness, empathy, and how to help other people (as well as how to become more resilient as an individual). Lastly, your intuition is going to be supercharged, especially when it comes to your sleeping dreams. Pay attention, it’ll bring you massive insights.

You may also become much more involved in non-profit organizations, helping people for no gain, taking care of people who are “invisible” (very old people, people with disabilities, society’s rejects, people with mental health issues, foster children, other people that slip through the system).

Advice: please don’t ignore things that are under the surface and please don’t push anything under the carpet, it will come out and it can potentially cause mayhem. Also, please make sure you kick any addictions to toxic substances to the curb: this is advice for all people under this transit, but you in particular.

Please also note that these are generalized predictions that aren’t tailored to the complexities and nuances of your natal chart. In order to get a full picture of how this transit affects you and of how you can work with it to best get through the transit, please book a reading.

Taurus:

Fame, group work, friends, hopes, dreams, strategies, alliances, adoptive family, life after 50, the internet, and community at large. This transit hits your community in more ways than one.

Under a Saturn transit through this house of your chart, it’s important to dream about where you want to be for the rest of your life, particularly the second half of life, and how you can get there. Then comes taking strategic, well-thought-through action that also includes the involvement of other people, particularly groups. Maybe you want to be a writer: find a writing group where you’ll pick up mentors, skills, and writing buddies that help keep you on track. Maybe you’re over fifty and noticed that life’s lonely now that your children moved out: this transit is going to ramp up your loneliness and call you to invest in friendships in a whole new way… and find communities that fit your interests, that build a village in the urban jungle of anonymity.

Friendships, particularly groups of friends, are an important part of this transit. Often, people with Saturn traveling through this house become painfully aware of which friends are not right for them and need to be let go of. Similarly, you may learn a thing or two about how to be a good friend – and you may also “mature” your friendship in such a way that a once shallow friendship now becomes much more resilient, vibrant, and helpful for all parties involved. New friends can be made through this transit, though it’s a process that often takes some time. Sometimes, this transit also brings people into isolation so they learn what type of community fits them, and what to look out for in a friend. This then sets you up for success because it allows you to build a working template for new friendships that makes building high-quality friendships much easier in the long run. Anyway, friends are your greatest teacher over this transit (whether you have ones or not) so take this seriously.

This transit will likely also highlight where you give your power away to groups of people. Do you live according to your values if you’re in a group of people who disagree with said actions? Do you believe something just because three people in your city told you to? Group Think makes people stupid, it also makes people question their own sanity and perception to the point that it can make someone admit to a crime they never committed (seriously – I am not kidding you). Make sure you know where you’re vulnerable to those things and then learn to stand your ground when it matters. Similarly, there are times when groups of people do things better than singular individuals could. Surgery is rarely if ever successful if it just includes one medical professional and the patient – that’s why you usually have multiple nurses, one or more surgeons, assistants, an anesthesiologist, and medical technicians in the surgery room. Never mind the people who do their jobs long before the patient ever needed surgery by creating and packaging sterile tools and/or cleaning machinery and the surgical units to the specifications necessary… and then, there’s the medical personnel that treated you pre-surgery, diagnosed you, prep you for surgery, and then take care of you after you wake up. Long story short: sometimes, groups are more efficient than singular individuals, and those groups may know more than you. Through this transit, you may need to learn to appreciate the power of the people and learn from groups of people, too.

There are unfortunately also times when the good of the group has to trump the comfort level of one of its members (note that I said comfort, not life/health/survival/livelihood, or else) in order for the whole to remain functional, efficient, healthy, or to stay alive. Similarly, when the “good of the group exceeds the good of the individual,” you usually create the grounds for murder – so let’s be really careful with that sort of thinking. Essentially, your job through this transit is to become aware of the power of groups and of how you can interact with that healthily, without falling into one extreme or the other. Likely, you’ll be exposed to multiple types of groups throughout this transit which gives you the practice you need.

Last but not least, you may have a tougher time reaching “fame” in some way (be it going viral or becoming famous for your cookies in your mom’s knitting group), but the things you become famous for are all hard-earned… for better, or for worse (you can also work hard for being famous as the a-hole). Be mindful of what you want to put out here, particularly when it comes to social media and the internet. You may want to be very careful and wise with what you put out there… and whether your passwords and viral security are up-to-par.

Please also note that these are generalized predictions that aren’t tailored to the complexities and nuances of your natal chart. In order to get a full picture of how this transit affects you and of how you can work with it to best get through the transit, please book a reading.

Gemini:

This transit affects your house of career, mission, reputation, status, social standing, and ambition in life. It’s also the area of your parents (specifically your father), yourself as a provider, and society at large.

Having Saturn here means first and foremost a change in your family system or societal role. Usually, people with Saturn in this house experience a change in hierarchy: some become elders, mentors, or patriarchic/matriarchic figures or take charge of raising or caretaking siblings/children/parents and so on. Others may experience a decline in responsibility based on a necessity to learn how to handle that responsibility well (f.e., children stop speaking to you). A lot of people experience a change in how they interact or think about their own parents. Some people start their families or have other family-system-changing experiences (f.e. the first or last kid moving out). Some people attempt to elevate their own status, but for almost all people, this is a transit where your reputation (for better or for worse) becomes obvious… and important. You’ll get consequences (good and bad) for the reputation you built and your rep becomes more vulnerable to scrutiny. Make sure you handle it well as those 3 years are the ones people will remember you for.

Now, let’s talk about the most obvious part of this house: mission. First of all, someone’s mission may be their career of choice, but it can also be something completely separate from career… either because someone picked a career that doesn’t fit them very well, in which case you are bound to experience lots of dark and gloomy feelings over this transit and may be nudged to change career paths. But also, mission can be child-rearing, the overwhelming urge to do important non-profit work, or taking care of a garden for the first time in your life. So, this house talks about both career in the traditional sense and a life mission that extends beyond the 9-to-5-getting-paid job. Firstly with this transit, you’re called to mature and step into the next phase of making your mission real. This can look like switching gears in business, leaving a job where you can’t get promoted, or taking your company in a new direction. But it can also look like getting a house that has a piece of land for your garden dream to come true – what this looks like really does depend on your mission.

Secondly, you may have to put in the work in a way that requires a lot from you, specifically integrity and patience. You may get a promotion under this transit, but you won’t get the results you want overnight (whatever those results are). Results are not going to fall into your lab, it takes consistent growth and learning from your mistakes, as well as becoming more mature, in order for you to get the successes you want. In business, you may have a tougher time getting a promotion or a thumbs-up from your boss at this time, but if you set your work on a realistic foundation of hard work where no corners are cut (and you don’t sell your soul in the process), you a) set yourself up for potentially successful decades to come, and b) you may get the consequences of your good work even before the end of the 3 years transit.

Part of this transit is also to step into a role of responsibility and live into leadership qualities, be it in a family function or in your work. This can look like new work or taking other people under your wing. However, if you’re not equipped to handle responsibility well, you may lose the trust and position of power you previously held, be it in your private life or at work. So, be sure to treat the people under and above you right and to take care of your own integrity and reputation.

(Hint: this is definitely not the time to try to lie to your boss. It’s also not a good time to piss them off when conflict is not strictly necessary to have – though a fight worth having is one worth fighting even under this transit. Try to be diplomatic and self-disciplined if you can.)

Cancer:

This transit falls into your house of faith, religion (if applicable), story-telling and meaning-making, synthesis of perception, the world abroad, long-term/long-distance travel, strangers and strange cultures/foreign languages, the higher courts/supreme systems, higher education, publishing, and luck. It’s also the area of teachers, preachers, grandparents, step-parents/-children, and in-laws.

Saturn in this area of your chart can mean that you need to pay more attention to what it is that you believe. Religious and spiritual beliefs (including the lack of believing in anything) may be tested for a) accuracy, b) effect on you, and c) whether you apply them at all… a.k.a., you get a course-correction or two if you’re drifting into the land of hypocrisy, but get positive consequences for living your belief with integrity slash changing your beliefs where you can’t actually live them – or learn that living them is damaging to you or others. The same goes for psychological or philosophical beliefs, as well as the way you judge your past or certain experiences in your life: you may have some awakenings here that change your tune.

With this transit, you may benefit or see the necessity of contact with people of other cultures and other backgrounds in life, you may even see the need to go back to school and get another degree, or to engage in a different avenue of life-long learning. You may also turn from student to teacher or invest more time into a) teaching others or b) learning from a teacher so you really get the material and learn to do things wisely. Publishing your ideas or putting your voice out there as a mentor, public speaker, etc. may also be something you end up doing over this transit, as you bring wisdom to others. Listen to your intuition here.

Step-family, in-laws, or grandparents may also play an elevated role in this transit. You may have some lessons when it comes to relying on luck. If you’re one of those people who only rely on luck, you may have to realize this doesn’t work as great. If you however never trust in luck, you may be put into experiences where you have no choice but to hope luck’s in your favor. Lastly, you may see the necessity for some big sort of adventure (or a smaller one) that pushes you out of your comfort zone. Whether that’s moving countries or ending up in a different culture, an extended vacation to a jungle, learning to Scooba dive, or who knows what, you may have to take a risk here – but do so in a prepared and strategic way. Listen to your intuition, but also plan meticulously. Your individual birth chart defines how this may show up for you.

Leo:

This transit falls into your house of power, death (usually figuratively), birth, rebirth, psychology, the occult, intimacy, sex, trust, the darker aspects of life, truths, secrets, and shared resources – which includes anything from inheritances, trusts, and double income to taxes, paying child-support, debt, and aliments. So, this is a pretty intense house.

First of all: there’s no need to freak out – you’re probably not going to die unless your hobby is playing catch with cars on highways. Saturn here does however ask you if your life right now is one you’ve lived well… and that can come through multiple experiences, one of them being close encounters with mortality. This can be a very intense experience as it puts you in touch with the largest truth of life and what really matters to you. But at the same time, it allows you to truly build a life that fits your soul, that makes you passionate to wake up in the morning, and that makes you feel empowered. Becoming radically honest with yourself throughout the next three years is a must, please don’t lie to yourself or willingly turn a blind eye to what’s really there: you’ll suffer for it. Similarly, this is not the time to give your power away to others, and it is definitely not the time to ignore your intuition. During this transit, you’ll likely feel an influx not just of your intuition, but you’ll also see the necessity of living in accord with it. Ignore it at your own peril.

Fun things about this transit are that the topics of trust, intimacy, and sexuality are highlighted. This is a good time to get down and dirty with someone, (responsibly) kinky, or to place your trust with someone who’s earned it. The trick here is that you need to make sure beforehand that the people you trust with those parts of you are worth it (again, listen to your intuition and your experience with people so you don’t trust the wrong people). Similarly, stay healthy, use condoms, and don’t be lax about preventing unwanted consequences. Lastly on this subject, while this is a good transit when it comes to intimacy and sex, it can also first lead to some problems depending on your chart: if this is the case for you, please don’t worry. Saturn rewards effort, attempting to get better at something, and consistency. So doing research on what’s up for you, learning to work with your (and your partner’s) body rather than against it, building not just sexual but also emotional intimacy, and scheduling sex is likely to take the challenges and transform them to something that makes your sex life better for the next 30 years.

Let’s go to finances. With this transit, it’s advisable to track where your money goes. You may also see financial consequences for the choices you made over the past years (on average), which can lead to people giving you money or taking a once-promised inheritance etc. from you.

Virgo:

Your Saturn-in-Pisces transit hits your area of relationships, mainly one-on-one relationships with a decent level of commitment and the intention of long-term or even “forever” investments. This includes but isn’t limited to: marriage, life partnerships, best friends since the cradle going to the grave, archenemies, business partners, and long-term clients. Also, this is the house of “other people” in general, so a lot of the themes of Saturn in Pisces will come into your life through the vehicle of other human beings. This can look like a person suddenly stepping into your life and teaching you about your intuition, or this may look like you meeting/hanging out with people you previously knew who suddenly need your help/caretaking, play victim or savior, or otherwise bring you to your limits within the themes discussed in detail in the main article of Saturn in Pisces. We won’t repeat this here for reasons of time.

Another aspect of this transit though is that your already established committed relationships are being tested. Relationships that aren’t in your highest interest often fall away during this transit while relationships that are often progress or become more serious (moving in, getting engaged, getting married, and so on). Also, it’s common for people who are single before/during this transit to meet their next committed, serious partner within this transit. Lastly, you’ll likely get a whole lot of clarity and maturity when it comes to figuring out what you need in a partner and how you relate in general.

Listen to your intuition when it comes to other people and be mindful of not over-sacrificing yourself.

Libra:

Saturn in Pisces hits your house or daily chores and tasks, work environment, colleagues, enemies, employees, service/being of service, aunts, uncles, mentors, pets, apprenticeships, lineages, small animals, health, routines, and work-life balance. So, a lot can happen here – but we’ll only focus on the main topics.

This is the time to clean up your habits and make sure that you get a sustainable living routine down to pat. Not everyone’s meant for getting up at the same time, eating the exact right amount of things, running three times a week, and getting all those dentist appointments in. But in this transit, it’s important to try to cut out things you know harm you (such as smoking) as they’ll have quick and lasting impacts on your health. It’s also extremely wise to do all those preventive things that keep health issues from happening (like getting enough vitamins, sunshine, and so on) and go to preventive health check-ups to make sure any problem is nipped in the bud quickly. Getting exercise in that’s healthy, fun, and sustainable is key to improving your health long-term. Similarly, getting your home and work environment checked for toxins may bring a solution to inexplicable or pre-existing chronic health issues. You can set yourself up for thirty years of better or thirty years of worse health than you otherwise would have, depending on how you work with this transit – it’s up to you and the intricacies of your birth chart.

Another thing to keep an eye on for the next 3 years is your work. Bureaucratic or automated processes may need a bit more supervision than usual, make sure you hit those deadlines. Similarly, it’s important to put in the effort in your chores (whether those are child-rearing, keeping a clean home, or in your career)… but you’ve got to also keep sight of work-life balance under this transit. Only working and only making sure you hit those goals will lead to you burning out or getting depressed throughout this transit. Making time for play, rest, and social contact is therefore key for good health.

Getting a mentor, starting an apprenticeship, taking care of animals, stepping into roles of service, and doing humble work with little to no accolades for them may be part of this transit. What sounds really dull and “not that great” though does build a very solid, almost indestructible foundation for success all over the next thirty years, especially as you learn things that bring you the patience, skill, and contacts for earning accolades in the decades to come. Think of this as an early investment that’ll pay off in years to come rather than weeks or months, you may not like the wait but the pay-off is still worth having.

Scorpio:

This transit highlights your house of children (your own or random, f.e. kids you work with). It’s also going to impact your love life, specifically romances, affairs, dating, and a relationship in its honeymoon stage, your hobbies and recreational activities, vacations, fun, and artistic/creative endeavors. Saturn in this house can first lead to a recline of creative energies/progress: but that’s not going to last forever, so don’t worry about it. Often, what happens during a transit like this is that you are getting some sort of an internal update that makes it a bit hard to create for a bit, but that improves your creative faculties behind the scenes so that, when you start again, you’re usually feeling as connected or more connected to your art as before. You may also learn more about creative modalities and start to get better here: just be careful about perfectionism, please, as that could potentially hurt you.

With Saturn in love, this is a time to kick anyone to the curb that you date you know doesn’t fit you, the person you know you won’t want to spend the next decades with. Saturn is all for being serious about something, so you’ll likely want to/start meeting people you could seriously date or even marry one day (if you’re so inclined). You may also take a bit more of a position of responsibility for kids at this time (it depends on the overall chart), or get clarity on whether you want to have or be around children. This is not a great time for fertility, as getting pregnant may not be as easy, but it’s also not a time to be reckless with protection should you not want kids (as you can catch an unwanted STD quicker than usual – and this is astrological data, not medical advice so please don’t treat it as such). Also, people can still get pregnant under this transit, it just may take more time than under other transits, so please don’t be worried if it takes a little longer to work/say “Saturn” if your date asks you what protection you use.

Lastly, you may feel the need to update your hobbies, structure your free time a little bit more, and use recreational time or effort in order to build your dreams. If you have hobbies/activities in your free time that has a bit of a toxic effect on you, this effect will become evident quickly. Say No to drugs, they’ll mess you up at this time specifically.

Sagittarius:

Saturn in Pisces transits the area of psychology, your roots, origins, home life, and family of origin (particularly your parents, specifically your mother). It may also coincide with a family of your own making if present, the womb area if applicable, the subject of fertility, roommates, family of choice, and properties you own. It’s time to get serious in these life areas. This could mean that for whatever reason, you decide to stay home or with your family of origin more than usual, this could also be that you decide to put down roots and work to build your dream home. Some people under this transit (not all!) may decide to start building a family and wish to build their lives accordingly. Others may decide to move their home, specifically to places that have access to water or to artist- or spiritual-type communities (of your choice). This is not applicable to all though.

Sometimes, this may also bring an elevated role in your family: you may take more responsibility for your parents or take a parental/caretaking role for other members of your family. You may get serious by moving in with a partner, or moving out and away from a roommate you used to vibe with but now don’t want to stay forever with any longer. You may pick a culture you really like and want to adopt or discard pieces of your own culture or your roots you really didn’t like. You may also study history/your family history, or get into building/anything to do with homes or houses.

Capricorn:

This transit falls into your house of perception, the media, your inner dialogue, communications, your mind, as well as learning, siblings/equals/cousins/neighbors, your local life, and short-distance travel/transportation. Yup, that’s quite a mouthful right there. Essentially, with Saturn in Pisces, part of your journey is to figure out how to deal with the thoughts in your own head, how to judge and improve the accuracy of your perceptions of the world, and how and when to communicate the things you need to communicate (any type of communication works, speaking, writing, signing, dancing, wiggling your eyebrows, a really expressive form of washing your car, you name it.) You may also come to diversify, improve or define one or more modes of communications, be it that you start to work for a media company and thereby deal with communications in a whole new way, or that you have to learn to speak differently because you hang out with your three-year-old niece a bit more and she doesn’t understand you yet. One thing to note also is that intuition is likely going to be highlighted for you throughout this transit, as intuition is part of Pisces and part of the realm perception – so spend time with this aspect of your life, please.

Your local life, siblings, neighbors, and people you deem as your equals may also be an area where you can expect a growth curve. Maybe those people need you to step up more, or maybe you want to step up more here. Saturn in this placement may also coincide with you teaching or finding a teacher to learn something: both are a possibility. You have one of the combinations that are going to be most affected by this transit, so please pay attention – but you’re bound to do so anyway.

Aquarius:

This transit impacts your finances, belongings (of smaller size than cars or houses), and resources in general. It also impacts your skills/resources that you can monetize, your net worth, your self-worth, and your values.

Under Saturn in Pisces, all these things are up for an update. Are you getting money in a way that matches your core values and integrity? Are you getting money sustainably? What are you doing with your money once you have it? Are you spending it in ways that make sense and that are good for you? The functionality of your body is as much of a necessity for making money as the tools you own or the skills you acquired for work. Are you treating this rightly, or do you allow yourself to get to a place where you can’t function anymore? All these things are highlighted under this transit. In that vein, Saturn in Pisces may call you to develop new skills, switch from sources of income, or shine a light on the sustainability of anything you do with money. Can you make money from your dreams – that’s another question that Saturn in Pisces throws out, and it’s your job to see if it’s doable – and to build sustainably towards that possibility. Saturn in Pisces is also going to put your self-worth and the values you hold. How can you make them more realistic? Are those values or the way you feel about yourself harming, or helping you? Do you need to update your life to change them? That’s the question of this transit.

Please also note that these are generalized predictions that aren’t tailored to the complexities and nuances of your natal chart. In order to get a full picture of how this transit affects you and of how you can work with it to best get through the transit, please book a reading.

Pisces:

Saturn in Pisces falls into your area of self, identity, lifepath, and of your physical body. The way you handle new beginnings, the ways others view you – the ways you present yourself to others – and your general outlook on life are all up for an update under this transit. You’re laying the foundation for the next 30 years of life right now and may very well grow leaps and bounds when it comes to your character growth and maturation. You will not be the same person you once were at the end of those 3 years. You may also encounter mentors or father figures/elders that have a hand in shaping who you are, or affect you deeply.

This is not a time when you can afford to grow lax when it comes to your integrity. This is also not a time to ignore harsh wake-up calls or realizations that you need to rework your life. You are the most affected of all signs, so work with the transit. If you notice that you consistently hit a roadblock, there are three possible options: you change your method, you get help, or you recognize that this path/goal isn’t for you – at least not right now. Similarly, you may need to learn the art of patience and endurance over this transit. But you’ll be massively rewarded over the course of the next 30 years for all the hard work you put in.

Please also note that these are generalized predictions that aren’t tailored to the complexities and nuances of your natal chart. In order to get a full picture of how this transit affects you and of how you can work with it to best get through the transit, please book a reading.
